We assist listed and privately held companies, municipalities, and electricity distribution companies to move away from expensive, high-carbon energy sources to cost effective on- or off-site renewable energy suppliers.
All without the expensive up-front cost burden or risks associated with outright purchasing large solar or wind power generation plants.

By combining the capabilities of various Independent Power Producers (IPPs) and Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) from Southern Africa and abroad we aim to provide the mining, smelting, mass manufacturing, agriculture and real estate sectors with highly tailored wheeled and on-site private pay-as-you-use renewable electricity supply solutions.
Our Service
Our core service at Circa Solutions is to connect companies with complex energy-intensive operations to vetted Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) who in partnership with world-class Renewable Energy Independent Power Producers (REIPPs) provide stable, reliable and cost-effective electricity to Off-Takers (i.e. Mines, Smelters, Manufacturing Facilities, etc.) from various off-site wind and solar IPP sites in conjunction with Eskom.
This process is known as energy “wheeling” where IPPs sell electricity to Off-Takers via the national grid by means of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
